Commercial Countertops for Businesses Across Toronto & the GTA

Countertop Pro provides custom commercial countertops for restaurants, offices, retail stores, medical clinics, condominium developments, property managers, builders, and commercial renovation projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Whether you need reception desks, bars, retail counters, restaurant serving counters, lunchroom countertops, boardroom tables, washroom vanities, showroom display counters, customer service desks, transaction counters, feature walls with your company logo, fireplace surrounds, commercial kitchen work surfaces, or custom stone elements for offices, retail stores, restaurants, medical clinics, hotels, and other commercial spaces, our team can help. We also have the experience and capacity to handle condominium developments, multi-unit residential projects, builder programs, and large-scale commercial projects throughout Toronto and the GTA.

Commercial Projects We’ve Built

Over the decades, our team has completed a wide range of commercial countertop and stone fabrication projects across Toronto and the GTA. From small business renovations to large-scale commercial developments, we work with business owners, contractors, designers, property managers, and builders to deliver durable, professional results.

Reception and Front Desks

A reception desk gets a lot of attention and daily use, so the details matter. We can help plan the transaction ledge, exposed ends, edge profile, seams, and countertop overhang before fabrication. This helps you see how the finished desk will look, avoid awkward seam locations, and make sure the stone works properly with the desk design, walls, and surrounding space.

Restaurants, Bars and Cafés

Bar tops and service counters get a lot of daily use, from spills and cleaning to constant traffic and plenty of elbows. Areas near ovens, grills, or other hot equipment also need extra consideration. We can help you choose the right material and plan the countertop details based on how each area will be used, rather than treating the whole space the same way.

Retail Counters

Checkout and display counters are often long and get leaned on throughout the day. That’s why we pay close attention to seam placement and proper support, especially around overhangs where customers may lean or put their weight. We’ll work through these details with you ahead of time, so the countertop is both practical and built to handle everyday use.

Commercial Washrooms

Commercial washrooms get a lot of use every day. A little planning ahead can make a big difference. We’ll work with you to figure out the number and placement of sinks, garbage bins, soap dispensers, hand dryers, and paper towel dispensers, so everything fits properly and is easy to use. Over the past two decades, we’ve built washroom countertops for large corporations, as well as public service facilities, including fire stations, schools, daycares, gyms and libraries. We understand the importance of making these spaces practical, durable, and easy to maintain.

Offices and Lobbies

We build all kinds of countertops for office spaces, from long workstation counters and kitchenettes to service and reception counters. We’ve also worked on larger lobby projects, including stone walls around elevator areas. Whether it’s a small office project or a larger commercial space, we can help with the stonework from start to finish.

Commercial Projects: What to Expect

We work with general contractors, designers, millwork shops, as well as directly with owners. While every project is a little different, the overall process is straightforward. Our experience allows us to understand your blueprints and AutoCAD files, identify potential issues early, and coordinate the stonework with the rest of the project.

We also understand that commercial installations can’t always happen during regular business hours, especially when the work is in a public area or busy customer space. When needed, we can schedule installations during evenings, overnight, or other off-hours to minimize disruption and keep your project moving.

From Drawings to Final Installation

1. Project Review & Budget Pricing

Send us your drawings, plans, sketches, or measurements, and we’ll review the project with you. At this stage, we can provide a preliminary quote to help you with budgeting and planning.

2. Material Selection

Choose from a wide range of quartz, porcelain, granite, quartzite, Dekton, and other stone surfaces. We can also help you select a material based on the look you want, how the space will be used, and your budget.

3. Site Measurement

Once the millwork is installed and the site is ready, we’ll come out to take the final measurements. We check the actual site conditions before fabrication so we can catch any differences from the original drawings and make sure everything will fit properly.

4. Fabrication

Once the layout and details are approved, we fabricate your countertops at our Etobicoke facility. Everything is made according to the final measurements, approved drawings, and project requirements.

5. Installation

We’ll coordinate the installation with your team and schedule it around the project timeline and site conditions. If the installation is in a busy public area, we can also work during evenings, overnight, or other off-hours when needed to minimize disruption.

Choosing the Right Surface for Your Commercial Counter

The right surface really depends on how each area will be used. A reception counter mainly deals with everyday use, elbows, paperwork, and cleaning. A bar top sees spills, glassware, and frequent cleaning, while a counter next to ovens, grills, or other hot equipment needs to handle heat.

That is why we don’t always recommend using the same material throughout an entire commercial space. For areas exposed to high heat, porcelain or natural stone may be a better choice than engineered quartz. If your project has different types of workstations, using more than one material can make sense based on how each area will be used.

A non-porous surface can also make cleaning and everyday maintenance easier, but no countertop replaces a proper cleaning routine.

What We Need for a Commercial Quote

Send us your drawings or floor plan with the countertop areas marked, and the finish schedule if you have one. Let us know anything we should be aware of at the site, such as access, working hours, and any building restrictions.

The more project details we have, the better we can price the project from the start. If the drawings or site conditions change later, the quote may need to be updated as well.
