Your countertop installation, step by step

The lead time is approximately two to three weeks, and in most cases we can complete the project within two weeks.

Before we begin, we'll go over the important details with you and ask the right questions to make sure we fully understand your expectations and requirements. This allows us to plan ahead, avoid potential issues, and minimize unexpected delays throughout the project.

  • Slab selection

    Visit our Etobicoke showroom to view full slabs in person. We carry a wide selection of quality materials, and because we purchase in volume, we're often able to offer competitive pricing on the same certified materials. We focus on quality and long-term value rather than low-grade materials. If quality is important to you, we'd be happy to help.

  • Templating

    Once your cabinets are installed and ready, we'll visit the jobsite for final measurements. This is an important stage where we'll go over the project details and confirm the key decisions before fabrication. Please have your appliances, sink, faucet, and other countertop-related details selected by this stage.

  • Fabrication

    Your countertop is carefully fabricated at our Toronto facility. From cutting and edge finishing to cutouts and polishing, the work is completed in the same facility by our well-trained team, allowing us to maintain consistency and quality throughout the process.

  • Installation

    Our experienced countertop installers will arrive on the scheduled date and complete the installation. Most standard projects can be completed on the same day.

  • Final walkthrough

    Once the installation is complete, the countertop is ready for your inspection. We'll review the finished work with you and provide care and maintenance instructions for your specific material.

Non-porous, low maintenance, no sealing required — quartz is one of the most popular choices for kitchens across Toronto and the GTA. Granite countertops Granite is highly durable, heat-resistant, and well suited for kitchen countertops, islands, bathroom vanities, outdoor kitchens, BBQ counters, and commercial spaces. Sealing is recommended to help protect the natural stone and maintain its appearance. Porcelain & sintered stone Dekton, Neolith, and Laminam porcelain slabs. Frequently asked questions

How long does the whole process take?

Most projects take approximately two to three weeks, with many standard-size projects completed within two weeks. The timeline depends on the material, project size, and schedule. Templating takes place once the cabinets are installed and level, and a standard kitchen installation is usually completed in one day.

Do you remove and dispose of the old countertop?

Yes, when removal is included in your quote. Laminate countertops are generally straightforward to remove. Granite and other stone countertops require more time and care to remove without damaging the cabinets underneath, so there may be a small additional removal fee. We'll let you know the cost upfront.

Do I need to be home during installation?

We prefer that someone is available on site during the installation in case questions come up or a decision needs to be made. This helps us keep the installation moving smoothly and avoid unnecessary delays.

Who disconnects the plumbing?

A licensed plumber should disconnect the plumbing before we arrive and reconnect it after the silicone has properly set. We'll let you know the timing so you can coordinate with your plumber.

Can I use the sink the same day?

Please allow time for the silicone to cure before using the sink. We'll let you know when it's ready based on the conditions on site.

What kind of jobs do you take on?

We specialize in custom countertop fabrication, countertop replacement, and professional stone fabrication and installation.

We don't typically take on:

  • Crack or chip repairs on existing countertops, especially when the material or its history is unknown
  • Repairing or reworking seams fabricated by others
  • Caulking or touch-ups from another installation
  • Enlarging or recutting existing sink cutouts
  • Fallen or loose sink repairs
  • Plumbing work
  • Stone modifications performed in the home

Many of these problems can be avoided with proper planning, fabrication, and installation from the beginning. A countertop is an investment. Choosing an experienced and qualified fabricator from the start can save you from costly repairs and headaches later.
