Before you start
How much does a marble countertop cost in Toronto?
It depends on the marble you choose and the details of your project. Carrara costs significantly less than an exotic marble such as Calacatta Gold or Statuario. Supply matters too — some exotic slabs are difficult to transport, which pushes the market price up, and rare colours can be very expensive.
Should I pick the slab myself?
Yes. When it comes to marble, we recommend choosing your actual slab. Every slab is unique, with its own colour, veining and character, and seeing it in person means you know exactly what will be going into your home.
Can I use the same marble for the bathroom and the kitchen?
Yes. Marble works for vanities, kitchen countertops and islands. The key is choosing the right marble for the application, and understanding that marble needs a little more care than quartz.
Which areas do you serve?
Toronto and the surrounding GTA, including East York, North York, Etobicoke, Woodbridge, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Milton, Brampton and the towns around them. Our facility is in Etobicoke.
What is the lead time for a marble countertop from start to finish?
With marble it is worth allowing a little extra time, because fabrication takes more care and attention than quartz. Typically it runs about two weeks from slab selection to finished installation, depending on the availability of the marble and the details of the project.
